Everyone is busy with the process of counting the extent of happiness and sorrows which had been given by the year gone by.What is the importance of 2009 in my life? Sure, for me it is just like an another year but the difference is 2009 was the first year when I was busy with work instead of studies. Also most of my classmates got placed in various sectors of industry & society. I would like to take this opportunity to search that where my batch mates are after our college.

Ya….yesterday one of my senior friends (rasmi ramachandran) told me that our batch got placed well when compared to their batch….That may be right….well……..Out of 42 students,14 got placed as permanent in various sectors,21 are pursuing their masters degree (both in Agri & management ), 7 are on behind the screen trying to appear on the screen (including me)…
Then….Oh…….my ‘last year’ .I hadn’t written any bank exam last year though opportunities are many. I have my own justifications for that. but now I changed the strategy towards my aim….i.e. now I am preparing for bank exams also. I don’t know from where did I get the dare to not to write any exams with intention to win. Many friends may criticize me.
But I am sure my decisions had impacts in my own area even though it hadn’t reached at my expectations.

For me, 2010 is the year of targets. I would like to write on the next New Year on this blog about my achievements…….

I wish a very happy new year which possesses happiness and sorrows in right proportions to all....

You did a great job by organising the seminar on 'Asean impact in Agri sector" at Gandhipark,Trivandrum.It is our duty to undertand and respond to it as agricultur graduates/agri students.
India signed the crucial trade pact with 10 nation Association of South East Asian Nations which will break duty barriers in the 1.7 billion consumer market in the region.Tariifs will be reduced to zero on 71% of all trade items by year 2013,another 9% becoming tariff free by 2016.The remaining 20% include a list of items on exclusive or sensitive lists,on which high tariffs will be maintained or reduced to 5%.The first phase of implementation is supposed to be over by 1st January 2010.Farm prodcts considered to be sensitive industries like palm oil,tea,coffee and pepper will be covered by FTA but tariff cuts will be applied in staggered steps within 10 years.An estimated 489 items are not included in the agreement.
I have to say it is ridiculous to kill our parents to marry a girl.In my view India did this type action in the case of ASEAN agreement.FTAs are now common between countries or economic blocks.I am not against it.But already paralysed nation like india due to farmers' suicide,should have thought/sought opinions from state Govts before signing the agreement.What is the objecyive of our Govt? Is it to create more farmers' suicide in our country? Kerala is the state has its own uniqueness in every aspects.In this sense,agreement affects more our state.
Discussions going on to include the services in ASEAN agreement.In my view study the long term effect of the agreement,and make a sensitive list according to it. By and large india don't have to make suicide of our own farmers..............................

Festivals and Celebrations……..

The last day of September.....
September witnessed (gave us) many festivals…From the beginning of the month September had to make more joy in everyone’s mind..
Onam,Malayalees’ own festival..
Ya.i think every Malayalee has their own concepts of ONAM.All of them try to celebrate at his own level. I remember Madhavikkutty has written in her Diaries(Ente Diary kuurippukal-Madhavikkutty) about her Onam in childhood & old age. There she compares these two onams with the opinions of other cultural leaders. All say that earlier Onam was good and now onam brings /exploit only consumer nature of malayalees(ippozhu enthonnu onode,pandokkeyalle onam).It may be true. But I don’t satnd with these cultural leaders and I am with Smt Madhavikkutty.She continues that old age onam was in the grip of caste thinking. Low caste people like Cheruman, Nayadees etc will get new dresses and money from the upper cast families.Now the problem of caste is not that much in societies. More people (when compared to old age) have money and live, celebrate their life.
Mahabaliyude samayathu maanushareelaarum oru pole. ---Socialism------I think it happens in this occasion of consumerised, publicized onam…
Eid – The celebration came next to Onam.
The festival is the end of one month fasting .Fasting makes remember about the people don’t have food.(Statistics shows 25000 persons die due to hunger & lack of food per day ).Also Ramzan helps to evaluate the deeds of gone year. Islam says there must not be anyone who don’t have the capability to take food on the occasion of Eid.The rich (every member in family) ought to give their part to the poor of the society. I think a good concept.Eid gave us to think about all the sections of society & creates opportunity to celebrate with family members.
Navrathry, Vijayadasmi, Dasra----
Actually I don’t know the exact concept. I know only think that it is the celebration that remembers victory of virtues.
All festivals are there to celebrate. We do all celebrations.

.........You may not feel special things init..because this type messages are more in mobile ruling world.........But sometimes......some words......some occassions...........i will be in grip of that.......hey agin & again laziness grabbing me........i know i have to go...............i have to start my missions..........................

Young Malappuram-------Good Bye..

When I went to Malappuram,I was unaware about the place.(Eventhough I visited Manjeri -Jithin's house-many times ,I didn’t get much time to watch the places).I came back from Malappuram after 7 months.. I think somethings have to write about Malappuram in my blog.
I worked as Field consultant of SHM inPrincipal Agricultural Office,Malappuram.Eventhough I was working in contract basis,this was the first chance to deal with Government matters. More than 60 personnels were there in office.For me it was a good working atmosphere ever I felt. Actually I acquired knowledge about many office works, files,computer works etc from there.Thanks to all in my office.I don’t count by name because it is very difficult.
Apart from office,I visited many places like Tirur,Nilambur-Teak Museum,Munderi-seed Garden Complex,Chungathara-district Agri Farm,Tavanur-KVK,Perinthalmanna,Manjeri,Nelliyampathi-as a tour programme,Malappuram-Kottakkunnu etc. I felt nice about all the places especially World’s largest Teak in Canoli plot.
Very co-operative people were the distinguishing fact there when compared to my native place.i felt Malappuram as very young.All the times I saw youths in roads especially young couples.I had joined an instituition there to improve my language.There I met many younger friends who were married.That I felt quite strange.
Malppuram gave me a lot of time to read works of eminent Malayalam writers…Naalukettu,Vaanaprastham,Randaamoozham,My story,Alchemist.Honey bees of Solomon,Postmortam,Barza ,Khaskhinte ithihaasam etc are some of them.Also my reading habit had got new dimensions there.
Hotel New Swaagath,Lodge at Munduparamb,Mosque at Munduparamba & Malappuram many things more there to remember.I have to remember the civil station canteen where I (as a staff) got Meals for RS6/-,Upma for Rs 3/-,Dosa for Rs 1.50/-Tea for Rs 2/-,Snack for Rs 1.40/- etc..i think that rate helped me to save money.

Yes ....Everyday everyone use this word........But majority of people say it as a formal one,but not from their heart.I also use this one everyday..But there are only few occassions I said SORRY or THANKS from my heart.
I have to say Thanks to ALMIGHTY GOD first.
Thanks to my friends who played a major role in my life.
God/Situations/Grandmother-You are the one who gave more courage during my SSLC.& that became the major turning point my life.
Nithin.R-I don't know how to say thanks.You are the one who changed me a lot. I repeated for entrance because of U.I stayed at lodge because of U. I think God came to my front in the form of U at that time...But i was unhappy at that time because U didn't get Entrance..You helped me from University college also for getting TC.......& U r continuing it...............I am not saying THANKS............because i Know U......................
COLLEGE- Salutes to my college my life.My charecter entirely changed from there...I am not familiar in my native place...i have no good friends at kaniyapuram....but i can say I have good friends all over the world......ya ie the differernce............Before entering to my college..........
I was afraid of darkness,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,I was an introverted person,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,I have no knowledge about charecter of girls (eventhough i studied a mixed school),,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,ya many things werw there.......
But.......During my collge life I Have caught by police at midnight at thiruvallam after watching secondshow of Bharathchandran.IPS.............................................I attended more than 100 meetings there...(I was a leader thre)..................................Majority of students in my campus were girls...i am sure that helped me a lot to understand my sister...her wishes......................................i can write more than 1000 pages about my college...............college has given many contacts.................................Ya i am not saying THANKS..................because .............

FAMILY --------- Matters

Last week I saw the movie ‘IVAR VIVAHITHARAYAL’. Good movie.
I am not trying to evaluate the movie but the subject.
In my view FAMILY is the most sacred word.But many times problems are there in the sacred area..The Couples/Parents argues for their viewpoints.They are not trying to undersatand or adjust each other.They may have their own reasons to justify it.But why don’t they think about the mind of their blessings(son/daughter).
I know someone they saw their father/mother only at familycourt. Father blames mother & mother do the same thing in reverse manner.What may be in their children’s mind at that time? Actually child don’t have to enquire the truths/arguments in their parents’ relations.But sometimes they are forced to do that.They understand/realize that there is no problem in between their parents other than their EGO.

Jayasurya plays such a role and he seeks a solution to solve parents' problems,but it creates much problems in their life.it is the story of movie....Though there had much problems,cinema has good end.

My question is .........In real life,how many Jayasuryas will have that 'good end'?

IMPACT OF EDUATION

'Education' is the word that has got many perceptions.In my view 'EDUCATION' is nothing but God's advent to one's mind. Education can be acquired not only from schools but also from experiences.Of course, schools,colleges,etc gives academic level education.But I think it is not enough to meet problems in life.Simply bookish knowledge doesn't represent the entire quality of a person.Owing to scored highest marks,one may get attention.But he is bound to prove he has good knowledge or education in practical life.



Anyway,education can change one's attittude.The present world is highly competitive in acquiring knowledge.But we should think that there are millions of students (having below 14 years old) who is lacking education in India.



When I was at College,I had attended a 5- day NGO training programme in Wayanad.

(WSSS-Wayanad Social Service Society is that NGO).The NGO authorities told they were sending 5-10% students from the tribes of Wayanad for higher studies such as B.Sc(Nursing) at Banglore.They were happy to say that WSSS made a change in education levels of tribes in Wayanad.

I agree..that might be correct.



I enquired the WSSS officials about the men who got status with the help of education offered by WSSS. I asked them what are their (Tribes having education) contribution to their family groups or native place. The reply from WSSS made me little bit sad. the reply was that

the educated tribes were being gone to other countries with family and they were not interested to return back to their tribal area.



I am sure that education saved a family there.But why do they reluctant to save a

society?
